Neither a leader, nor team, to shy away from a great challenge, Liz and her designers jumped at the chance to work on this truly rewarding Charles River Court project. The challenge: take a somewhat dated, a little worn ‘round the edges builder spec house from the 1990’s, and transform it into a beautiful, fresh home for today. “Comfortable,” “approachable” and “inspiring” were words that informed Liz’s vision for the couple and their three teenaged daughters. Another word was “masterful,” which was how the team described the local architect with whom they worked. His preference was to update and correct, not to tear down and start from scratch. And that’s what the team did; they repurposed a high percentage of previous furnishings, and using favorite colors, objects and art, they created a narrative that expresses individual personalities, yet also reflects a family living under one welcoming roof. A forever home, Charles River Court is tailored to perfection for this family’s full and multi-faceted lives.
