A new job opportunity prompted this client and her husband to rent a pied-à-terre in NYC’s storied Upper East Side neighborhood. Liz and her team were tasked with furnishing and refreshing this space from scratch in only a few months time. Our strategy was to paint selectively, invest in good quality pieces that the clients could carry with them from home to home, and to source well-made vintage items that were available immediately. We tapped some of our favorite dealers across the country (and across the Atlantic) and in a matter of months, this cozy Upper East Side home became a highly curated and layered space serving as a home away from home for its occupants.
